This is Little Smokey – one of the first pals I made on moving into the neighbourhood. I discovered him as a young gent, frolicking with a discarded sock dangerously close to oncoming traffic. We came to an agreement that day: he would no longer play daredevil games and I would turn a blind eye to the ever-dwindling squirrel population.

Blinky here is a gifted theologian, philosopher and apologist in the grand tradition of St. Augustine. Some may find his views on the status of female outreach ministers rather disappointing, but there can be no doubting his steadfast faith.

Guest pastor Ashley from Toronto keeps the faith with the same well-dressed cat we met last fall on Havelock Street! Nice to see a recent convert keeping the faith so successfully. Boots now runs a soup kitchen for recovering subway mice.
